About Ormond Beach Golf Cart Repair

Ormond Beach Golf Cart Repair is an independently operated mobile repair service for golf carts and low-speed vehicles across Volusia County: Ormond Beach, Ormond-by-the-Sea, Daytona Beach, Port Orange, Palm Coast, and Holly Hill. There is no showroom and no reason to trailer anything. Our techs come to your driveway, garage, or cart barn, diagnose the cart on-site, and fix it there whenever the needed parts are on hand.

What we do

We work on all major brands: Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, ICON, Evolution, Bintelli, Kandi, and most others, electric 36V and 48V especially, plus gas carts. Our bread and butter is the same list every cart owner eventually faces: dead or dying battery packs, carts that won’t charge, weak brakes, worn tires, a solenoid that clicks without moving anything, and motor or controller faults.

We publish our price ranges here. A full lead-acid pack installed runs $1,200 to $1,800, lithium conversions $1,600 to $3,500, brake work $75 to $400, tires $75 to $150 each, and the $50 to $100 service call is usually applied toward the repair when you approve it. Every range is on the pricing page, and you should get a flat, up-front number in your driveway before any work starts.

What we are not

We are not an authorized dealer, service center, or warranty provider for any cart manufacturer. If your Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, ICON, or Evolution is still under factory warranty, the dealer that sold it is the right place for warranty work, and we will tell you that on the phone rather than sell you a paid repair. Nobody should sell you parts you do not need either. A cart that won’t charge deserves a charger and charge-port test before anyone talks about batteries, and a weak cart deserves a load test on every battery before anyone condemns the pack.

Why mobile, and why here

This is an older, coastal, seasonally-populated stretch of Volusia and Flagler counties, and in a great many households here the cart is transportation rather than recreation: to the beach access, the clubhouse, the pool, a neighbour’s house. Add the seasonal residents who arrive for the winter and leave their carts parked for the summer, and you have a large number of carts doing real work and a large number sitting badly. A dead cart here is not a lost afternoon of golf. It is a stranded person. That is the problem we exist to solve, which is why every visit is mobile and why you get a visit window with the quote instead of a trip to a shop.

The climate makes the work different from the Midwest, too. Long hot summers with most of the year’s rain falling in them, and salt in the air every day of the year. Heat evaporates water out of flooded batteries and shortens their life; humidity and salt air off the Atlantic, the Halifax River, and the Intracoastal corrode terminals, charge ports, lighting grounds and brake hardware, on carts that are driven and on carts that simply sit. Every visit ends with terminals cleaned and coated and flooded cells watered, because that finish is worth more here than the brand sticker on the battery.

How a visit goes

You describe the symptom by phone or form, and we set the visit window with you. Our tech arrives with the likely parts, runs the diagnostic (per-battery load test, pack voltage, charger output, solenoid and controller checks), gives you a flat price, and does the work on the spot once you approve it. Old batteries leave with us for lead-core recycling. Gated communities in Ormond-by-the-Sea, Tomoka Oaks, Plantation Bay, Hunter’s Ridge, and Halifax Plantation are common destinations; leave a gate pass with the guardhouse or mention the gate when you call so our tech can get in.

The FAQ covers the most common questions, and the service area pages describe each part of the area we cover. If you have a cart that will not leave the garage, send the brand, the battery count, and what it is doing, and we will come back with a number.
